The Third Meeting of the Group of the Friends of the Co-Chairs on Liability and Redress in the Context of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety was held in Kuala Lumpur from 15 to 19 June 2010.
The Third Meeting of the CBD (Convention of Biological Diversity) Working Group on the Review of Implementation of the Convention (WGRI) was held in Nairobi from 24 to 28 May 2010. The WGRI was accredited to consider the progress in the implementation of the CBD, to review the impacts and effectiveness of existing processes under the Convention, and to consider ways and means of identifying and overcoming obstacles to the effective implementation of the Convention.
An extraordinary Meeting of the Focal Points for SPAs (Specially Protected Areas) was held in Istanbul on the 1st and 2nd of June 2010.
